Eriouni0s

Bobby, 26, Gay, Geeky, Very likely taller than you.

Living between Long Island, New York and Greensboro, North Carolina with my partner as we maneuver through the twisting tumultuous din of the theatre life and Graduate School.

I swear to god I'm a live person here and not a spamblog, but it's so much easier to alt+reblog than actually share my thoughts with you, plus most of you are only in it for the hilarious and amazing things I'll mercilessly fill your dashboards with anyway. Still, if you'd like to chat my ask box is open.

On my first day working at Disney World I went into the bathroom and accidentally smacked right into Snow White, and she went “Oh fuck!” and almost dropped her Red Bull and that was the beginning of the best job I’ve ever had.

Summer Glau rehearsing for Serenity

I really love that she fights like a dancer.

Because she was a dancer. Which is what makes her movements so beautiful and interesting, I think.

I remeber watching so much about Summers prep for this. The fight choreographers were basically like giddy school kids because she is so flexible and can balance so well from years and years of ballet they could do interesting things.

I remember similar things being said about Zoe Saldana in Colombiana which makes me excited to see what they have her do in Guardians.

As close as you will ever be to a nuclear explosion

THIS IS FUCKING TERRIFYING

No thank you.

The columns of smoke in the foreground are telephone poles boiling

This is way cooler to look at than it should be

Science side of Tumblr would like to add:
Heat is generally transmitted in 3 forms: conduction, convection, radiation.
The fact that the telephone poles and wires are boiling away well before the shockwave hits them indicates that the heat from the explosion has not reached them by convection (much slower than the speed of sound) or by conduction (at best, comparable to the speed of sound), but purely by radiation. In other words: the explosion is bright enough to boil everything.
